Beginners Workshop with Lauren Daddis

Saturday, April 29th 2-4pm at DY Northern Liberties

This workshop is perfect for beginners or practitioners looking to reestablish proper alignment and deepen their knowledge of the importance of breath and movement. You’ll learn about the basics of yoga including core philosophies, introductory breathing practices, techniques to maintain alignment, how to use props for support effortlessly, and how to keep your practice safe over time. This 2 hour class provides an environment where you can ask plenty of questions as we dive deeper into some of the following topics as well:

A brief history of Yoga, the 8 Limbs of Yoga, details of the Ujjayi breath, Sun Salutations, Foundations of common poses and safe modifications, use of blankets, blocks, and straps in a way that makes your practice sweeter…
