![]() Dhyana (Founder, Director of Teacher Trainings, EYRT, IKTY) was born and raised in Philadelphia, moved to Southern California in 1989, and did most of her formal Yoga training there in the Ashtanga and Kundalini traditions. Dhyana returned to Philly in 2002 and opened Dhyana Yoga to serve her hometown. Dhyana loves teaching, spending time with her boyfriend and dog, loud music, dark chocolate, the smell of amber, SCUBA, reading, Tokaji, and coffee. She is inspired by her Dad, Yogi Bhajan, Gandhi, Deepak Chopra, Hari Nam Singh Khalsa, Oprah, and the Dhyana Yoga staff. Dhyana means: Focus. Meditate. Cultivate the Innocent Observer. Be You.
